A Schengen tourist visa allows you to enter the Schengen Zone for a short term stay, which is considered to be a maximum of 90 days for every 180 days period. When you select for which country you should apply, you must consider the following rule:
Apply for a visa for the country you will spend the majority of your time in (if visiting multiple countries). If you are spending an equal amount of nights in more than 1 country, you must apply for the country you will enter first. The final visa decision, validity and number of entries is solely at the approval of the Consular section. First time applicants are more likely to receive a single entry visa to cover the duration of their trip according to the documents provided upon applying for the visa.
Please be advised that processing time will begin from the date of appointment. Available appointments for submission vary based on location of application and Schengen country destination.
